(I *might* move to WordPress eventually... as i'm not *totally* happy with Blogger... but it probably won't be for quite some time yet. I do have an OpenID because i have a LiveJournal account, altho i don't use it.)

Regarding disabled actors playing monsters and non-human characters: there's an American actor called Michael Berryman who has Hypohidrotic Ectodermal Displasia (HED). He does a lot of work in horror films, often playing killers, mutants, or some combination thereof. (He was also in "Star Trek: The Next Generation"). His most famous role is probably in Wes Craven's "The Hills Have Eyes"--and the sequel--as one of the lead cannibal mutants created by nuclear testing.

You just made me think of that. And thanks for the shout-out, too.
